By provenance, I'm a native Parisian. As a child, my family traveled often, exposing me to many diverse cultures. North Africa, Haiti, Brazil, and the United States were some of the places that had a profound effect on me. When I turned 17, my wanderlust got the best of me. I decided to leave my French roots behind and move to America where I became a student of the California lifestyle.
My foray into the world of craft was through a wise, talented friend who introduced me to shapes, color, and texture by means of hand weaving on a loom. In 1995, I delved into jewelry making where I found my true calling. It seemed all of my passions and curiosity came together in this one medium. My lifelong fascination with body adornments, from the Navajo Indians to African tribal to modernism, culminated with heat, silver, gold and my own creative expression. I share my days working for a creative agency and handcrafting jewelry.
